We are excited to announce our new program operations - please thoroughly read before registering.
Once a month we will hold a Pass Off Day to move from the beginner to advanced group.
Driver's Meeting now MANDATORY prior to going on track.
Welcome to Amateur Track Day!
Amateur Track Days (ATD) is a unique program presented by Utah Motorsports Campus that allows enthusiasts to drive their street or race-prepared car at speed on our racetrack in a non-competitive environment, and Autocross on either West Paddock or Midway
Cars are released onto the track strategically, allowing you to drive at whatever speed your comfort level permits, to enjoy your car’s abilities and sharpen your skills. Precautions are in place to keep you and everyone else safe; it will definitely be one of the most memorable experiences of your life.
Choose your run group
BEGINNER – For those with little to no experience on track. Single lap runs
ADVANCED – After passing off with an instructor (offered once a month), you're ready for the Advanced group! This group consists of continuous laps and you will be on track with other cars. A solid understanding of flag and passing rules is required. Those with at least 7 track days registered with MotorsportReg may sign up in the Advanced group. **Instructor add on option for the Advanced group offered on Pass Off Day** First come first serve. Only one available per session.
PASS OFF SESSION – After completing at least one track session in the beginner group, you may sign up for the opportunity to get passed off to the advanced group. ** It is up to our instructor to determine if you are passed off or not.
Cars are released one at a time on our AutoCross course on our West Paddock - these runs will be timed. This allows you to drive at whatever speed your comfort level permits, to enjoy your car’s abilities, and sharpen your skills. Precautions are in place to keep you and everyone else safe; it will definitely be one of the most memorable experiences of your life.
***SPECIAL NOTE*** If there is bad weather and the surface for Autocross is either wet OR covered in snow, the track layout will be changed to a less aggressive setup and will be used as a defensive driving opportunity.

Helmet rentals ARE available - we are taking extreme cautions with this and will be sanitizing the helmets after each use

Need a helmet? UMC has helmets available for rent, sizes S-XL.
(Additional fee will be charged if the helmet is not returned)

Session 1 – 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM – ADVANCED, Passing with "Point by Only", Front Straight
Session 2 – 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM – ADVANCED, Passing with "Point by Only", Front Straight only
Session 3 – 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM – BEGINNER, Single Laps, No Passing
Session 4 - 6:00 - 7:00 PM - BEGINNER, Single Laps, No Passing
ATD AUTOCROSS SESSION TIMES - You can book multiple sessions
