Welcome to ATD Winter Cross!
Amateur Track Days (ATD) is a unique program presented by Utah Motorsports Campus that allows enthusiasts to drive their street or race-prepared car at speed on our racetrack in a non-competitive environment, and Autocross on either West Paddock or Midway
Cars are released onto the track strategically, allowing you to drive at whatever speed your comfort level permits, to enjoy your car’s abilities and sharpen your skills. Precautions are in place to keep you and everyone else safe; it will definitely be one of the most memorable experiences of your life.
ATD Track Laps - $75 per 1-hour session – 20 Cars Maximum per Session
We now have 2 different run groups
BEGINNER – For those with little to no experience on track. Snow on track = single lap runs.
ADVANCED – You MUST have participated in at least five Begginer sessions. You will be on track with other cars. A good understanding of flag rules is required. Snow on track = single lap runs.
ATD AutoCross - $30 per session – 20 Cars Maximum per Session
Cars are released one at a time on our AutoCross course on our West Paddock - these runs will be timed. This allows you to drive at whatever speed your comfort level permits, to enjoy your car’s abilities, and sharpen your skills. Precautions are in place to keep you and everyone else safe; it will definitely be one of the most memorable experiences of your life. During sessions with snow cover, there will be no timing, and the course will be less agressive.
***SPECIAL NOTE*** If there is bad weather and the surface for Autocross is either wet OR covered in snow, the track layout will be changed to a less aggressive setup and will be used as a defensive driving opportunity in the snow.
PLEASE READ BELOW SPECIFIC RULES FOR OUR AMATEUR TRACK DAYS
- Helmet rentals ARE available - we are taking extreme cautions with this and will be sanitizing the helmets after each use
- If you are late and miss your session, there will be NO REFUNDS
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Sessions will run regardless of the weather!
Helmet Rental $25
Need a helmet? UMC has helmets available for rent, sizes S-XL.
(Additional fee will be charged if the helmet is not returned)

** There will be NO snow removal on the track! Single laps only when the track is snow covered **
Session 1 – 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM – BEGINNER, No Passing
Session 2 – 12:10 PM - 1:10 PM – BEGINNER, No Passing
Session 3 – 1:20 PM - 2:20 PM – ADVANCED, Passing by point by only, front straight only
Session 4 - 2:30 - 3:30 PM - ADVANCED, Passing by point by only, front straight only
ATD AUTOCROSS SESSION TIMES - You can book multiple sessions
** NO timing when the lot is snow covered **
Session 1 – 11:00 PM - 1:10 PM
Session 2 - 1:20 PM - 3:30 PM
